Q: Is a 2004 Audi A4 good to drive a distance of 200 miles once a week?
I drive to a different city once a week, about 160 miles away. I got a 2004 Audi A4, runs perfectly fine, 58,000 miles on it, just want to make sure nothing typically happens?

I just got a 2007 Audi A4 yesterday. I am having trouble adjusting the steering wheel, despite having read through most of the owner’s manual. The problem is that in the book it pictures the wheel with a column coming out that it does not have on my model. It says there is a button on it for adjusting the wheel. I don’t know where else to look.

So, How do you adjust the steering wheel on a 2007 Audi A4? Thanks!

A: if you reach down below the column right behind the wheel there is a lever you pull down adjust and lock back into place. I didn’t know this either until one day i was bored at a stop light and noticed a lever under there i pulled it hoping the car wouldn’t explode, and whataya know the wheel adjusted.

I need an explanation on how to remove the front bumper off the Audi a4 b5 in steps, and are there any tools (not including regular tools) that I may need?

A: Got this from an Audiworld DIY article, Ive used one from that site for my b5 s4 and its basically the same thing really… when you actually get to taking off the bumper its kind of a bitch… haha, you gotta pull hard bot be careful not to break shit and look for those clips in step 5

“1. Remove the plastic underpan; 6 screws underneath and 2 plastic screws in each wheel well.

2. Remove two small grills and fog lights (if applicable) on front bumper; the grills come out just by pulling.

3. Disconnect the hose to the headlight washers by reaching through the hole where you removed the driver’s side grill; it disconnects at the lightened area of the picture below. If you can’t reach it, see step 6. Washer Fluid will SPLASH out, so catch it in a bucket in case you want to reuse that

4. Remove the two long 6mm hex bolts (see above picture).

5. Now grab the side of the bumper, almost to the wheel well and pull BACK (towards the rear of the car) and DOWN then UP. It takes a little finesse, but it’s really not that hard. Have someone else hold the bumper while you do this so it doesn’t come crashing down and scratch the paint. See the picture below, notice how the two clips at the top and one at the bottom grab the bumper like a claw. So if you pull it down, and then up (or vise versa), then you should be able to work it loose. “

Q: Why do new license plate number lights not work on a 2005 Audi A4?
I have a 2005 Audi A4 sendan. The computer keeps beeping with a warning that the license plate lights are not working. I have replaced both bulbs but I continue to get the error and the lights will not come on. What can be the problem?

PS I don’t have a users manual so I can’t even check the fuses but would the license plate lights even be on a separate circuit?

A: Just the license plate lights .. They are probably on the same fuse as the tail lights, so make sure those are working. If the tail lights are okay, then it’s something right in the license plate light socket, like the socket itself, or the plug where the lights plug into the wiring harness

A: best thing to do is to get a book, read it then make the repair. It is not that time consuming all you got to do is start the repair likely 6 hours to repair. Good luck, be sure the timing marks are corect aligned or it will cost you. Good luck and God bless you.

A: ive got an audi a4 but my windscreen is perfect there should be a bunch of numbers somewhere on the window and what you can do is call audi and ask for a replacement window and show them that number or just call autoglass and then can fix the crack in 5 minutes for FREE

im thinking about buying an audi 2006-2008 but i was wondering if there is any difference between the audi a4 s-line and the audi s4. i know the s4 is a v8 4.2L and the a4 comes 2.0T or 3.2l but is tehre any difference physically like exterior or interior? please let me know.

A: Yeah the S4 has a SLIGHTLY more agressive look with the grill, wheels, lowering and silver mirrors . It also has a siffer suspension, bigger sways, bigger and S-model wheels, and uprated brakes. Basically a sportier ride. The s-line is a gap between the A4 and the S4. There is also a Titanium A4 model.

Q: Do you think the Audi A4 the B8 model is better looking then ?
Does anybody think the new Audi A4 B8 is more better looking then the Mercedes C class and the BMW 3 series. I personally prefer the new Audi because it looks more better the headlights look agressive and the interior looks much better then its predisessor but what do you lot think?

A: get the A4, yes the passat and A4 are similar in design, however, the A4 is more luxurious and in most cases sporty.
since this is in the audi section, be prepared to have alot of Audi answers. But seriously, consider this… there is a reason Audi costs alot more than VW. So go with the Audi, you will not be disappointed.

Is there a fuse or something I can pull to disable the AC compressor on a 98 Audi A4 1.8T? The AC turns on whenever I use the ‘auto’ climate control or if I want to recirculate air in the cabin. I don’t want to be running the AC compressor all winter long.

A: the A/C IS the auto climate control just switch off the A/C with the A/C button and set whatever temperature you want, but it will not demist as well with the A/C off as this also dries the air

It did not come with one. Well, my question is (if there is nowhere to download for free) how do you switch between low beams and high beams?

A: there should be two little arms on the left side of your steering coloum, one is to turn the headlights on (lowbeam) when u have the lowbeam on you can switch the highbeam on if u like . As for the manual , trying searching it on ebay .

Q4 is a performance car it can be 4 wheel full time and Q4 has I believe, full four wheel steering capacity. This gives it more agility in small radius turns. Weight is the main thing here, it weighs less, so there is lot more spare power so it can go fast as needed, it does not top out.

Q stands for Quartro or Quart, it means 4. Q4, means 4-4 simply 4 wheel powered drive and 4 wheel steering.

I got an 02 audi a4 3.0 v6 quattro. I have an air intake on it but i want to make it as fast as i can(chip turbo supercharger etc.) i need advice. And also the engine tends to overheat after normally driving it for 15 mins. How do i fix that?
